Description We are offering a Human Resource Specialist remote opportunity. As a Human Resource Specialist, you will be working closely with Employee Reasonable Accommodation Requests. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and managing reasonable accommodation requests within the organization. You will also be responsible for maintaining precise records and generating reports related to ADA compliance. In your role, you will liaise with cross-functional teams and participate in internal ADA compliance committees, contributing your expertise and guidance.Responsibilities: Ensure the organization's compliance with current ADA regulations and guidelines. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure ADA compliance. Act as the main contact for employees requesting accommodations. Collaborate with employees, HR, and managers to assess accommodation needs and propose suitable solutions. Oversee the interactive accommodation process, including documentation, communication, and follow-up. Maintain confidential records of accommodation requests, approvals, and related communication. Generate regular reports and metrics related to ADA compliance for HR leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, facilities, and IT, to ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all aspects of the organization. Participate in internal ADA compliance committees or working groups, offering expertise and guidanceRequirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity compliance is essential Experience in Compliance Management and HR Compliance is required Proven experience with accurate and detailed documentation Exceptional Customer Service skills Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office Suites Understanding of Legal Terminology related to Human Resources Excellent written and oral communication skills Previous experience working with ADA regulations and understanding of ADA compliance Experience with Employment law is a plus Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
