Engineering Support TechnicianWe have a prime opportunity for anEngineering Support TechnicianatKirby Risk Precision Machining in Lafayette, IN. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in CNC Programming and possesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all departments in the organizationPrimary Responsibilities: Implementation and improvement of location manufacturing processesCollaborate with Engineering Supervisor to create and maintain EIA / Conversational programs for all CNC machine tools.Collaborates with Operations Group to resolve shop floor issues that pertain to new and current manufacturing processesAssists Quality Department in implementing corrective actions related to current manufacturing processesEnsures that manufacturing processes follow current ISO best practicesSet up and run down of new jobs and making appropriate engineering changes to existing jobsDemonstrates professionalism when representing the company in all communications with internal and external customers and vendorsWant to know if you are a good fit? If so, you will meet the following criteria:High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experienceCollege level coursework or 2+ years of relevant work experience3+years of EIA/Conversational CNC Programming experienceExperience with CAD and CAM
softwareAbility to multitask and shift prioritiesHours and Travel: 7 am - 4 pm(shift start and end times can be flexible). Overtime based on business needs. Travel for training as required.
