We are currently in search of a skilled Roofing Technician, who can bring knowledge, and experience to the table.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Perform roofing repairs and replacements on all Cornett product lines (slate, copper, tile, rubber, stamped metal, standing seam, etc.)
· Ensure material lists are accurate to job site measurements taken and prepared prior to commencing work.
· Provide updated progress reports on job milestones to the Production Manager.
· Provide first-class customer service to homeowners to ensure a smooth install or repair experience.
· Interface with homeowners on repairs and ensure scope of work is completed to Cornett standard.
· Metal fabrication of 24-gauge steel and 16-ounce copper required for contracts sold.
· Perform job-site detail takeoffs for contracts sold by sales team.
Qualifications required for success:
· Proven experience as a Roofing Technician or similar role in the construction industry
· Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
· Strong organization and time-management abilities.
· High level of detail-minded/quality thinking.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred: Specific knowledge and experience working with slate, copper, tile and metal roofing systems.
