We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Lilly is seeking an innovative Web Product Strategy Associate Director to help define, elevate, and execute best-in-any class web strategies to serve healthcare providers and patientsThe Digital Engagement Arena is particularly dynamic and swiftly evolving – marked by continual new platform launches and UX changes; local policy and regulatory mandates; shifts in user behavior, expectations, and dedication; new ways to leverage data, design, and content; and more. As access challenges continue to amplify across therapeutic areas, digital channels, with a strategic focus on web, will be a critical enabler of acceleration of reach and scale.You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the web product strategy for the Digital Engagement Team. This role will work closely with the UX team to ensure a seamless and best-in-any-class web experience for our key customers, and mentor a team of product owners to implement launches and drive innovation in partnership with Global and US brand teams and Tech@Lilly delivery partners. The Associate Director will also serve as the primary relationship owner with external parties, driving collaboration with those who partner with us to deliver our web experience and meet customer needs.The Website Product Strategy Associate Director will report to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Websites and join leaders from the Enterprise Website Team, Social Media Center of Excellence, and Search Capabilities Team to collectively craft and deploy coordinated, innovative, and significant digital marketing strategies, connections, and solutions that improve health outcomes and address business needs across Customers, Business Units, Functions, and Geographies – ultimately helping Lilly deliver on its purpose to make life better for people around the world.Key Objectives:

Champion a user-centric approach to web development that delivers against overarching business objectives and creates a best-in-class web experience for HCP and consumer customers; Apply data-driven insights to advise decision-making and measure the impact of website initiatives on key performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion.

Handle the website product roadmap, including defining project scope, timelines and resource allocation to ensure on-time-delivery of key initiatives; Lead the planning, prioritization and implementation of web innovation and enhancements, with Tech@Lilly partners

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, Tech@Lilly, UX, regulatory and compliance to ensure content and functionality meet regulatory standards and guidelines.

Keep a keen eye on external factors such as trends in and outside of industry, emerging technologies, and standard processes in web development, UX/UI design and digital marketing to ensure delivery of best-in-any-class experience across US web engagements and continually enhance Lilly’s online presence.

Develop a framework that considers the customer journey, user persona, and brand life cycle to guide and provide recommendations for execution by US/Global brands.

Act as subject-matter-lead on website related matters, providing guidance, training and strategic support to internal collaborators. Ensure strict compliance with all marketing guidelines, good promotional practices, privacy policies, compliance, quality, and any additional process-related policies and procedures. Lead and conduct continuous auditing, in addition to structured audits led by Corporate Audit Services, to ensure processes and solutions are secure and/or updated as needed to safeguard compliance. Demonstrate knowledge and commitment to all applicable laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Digital-, Social Media-, Website-, and Search-related marketing activities.

Pursue, lead and Integrate collaborations like Prescriber Point into brand website strategy and build a roadmap of capabilities needed on HCP websites

Build and maintain strong partnerships with key partners across the organization

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and standard methodologies to ensure our web experience thrive in a driven market.

Recruit, develop, retain, and inspire a diverse and highly skilled team with an entrepreneurial “Team Lilly” leadership style that chips in to developing and advancing the next generation of digital and specialty marketing “MarTech” leaders. Cultivate innovation, collaboration and uninterrupted improvement within the EWI team, and across the Digital Engagement Organization.

Own accountability for resources—both people and budget. Maintain a right-sized people model and detailed tracking and leading the budget to drive efficiencies across resources, vendors, data suppliers, etc., including any vital reconciliation/accrual processes and/or updates

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of experience in web product strategy or a related field

Record of developing and driving successful web product strategies

Experience working with external partners to deliver web experiences

Strong understanding of UX principles and standard processes

Cross-functional marketing and operations agility within a highly matrixed organization. Strong ability to collaborate, lead, and prioritize across multiple work streams and teams.

Confirmed ability to translate customer/collaborator insights and strategies into effective enterprise marketing/communications plans.

Excellent critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to thrive in a sophisticated, multifaceted, changing, and ambiguous environment.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Previous experience scaling new functional and digital capabilities across geographies

Consistent record of operational compliance within the pharma industry; understanding of global digital regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR and CCPA).

Successful experience leading and working with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated and successful history leading large-scale global programs and/or systems with ownership of both strategic, operational, and tactical work plans.

Ability to effectively influence across all levels, within and outside of functional area, and outside the corporation.

Previous Central Audit Services (CAS) Global Auditing experience.

Knowledge of internal content approval processes

Strong organizational skills with flexibility.
