Looking for Maintenance Technicians with 2 years of experience to work in Indianapolis, INJob Description
Join us as a Maintenance Technician in our fast-paced, temperature controlled facility
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all production machinery, electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment up to 480 volts
You'll work with drives, motors, vfd's, 3 phase motors, high speed packaging machines, conveyors, belts, and more
You'll check fluid levels, work with hydraulics, sensors, switches, and replace filters
If you are able, PLC troubleshooting repair is also part of the role
Follow Lock out Tag out procedures and use the SAP system to complete PM's around the plant
This position consists of 75% mechanical and 25% electrical troubleshooting
Work Environment
This is a very fast-paced, temperature controlled environment with a lot of moving parts. Safety is paramount. The facility is FDA regulated, so hair nets and beard nets are used. Shifts available are 3rd; 5:45pm - 6:15am and 1st; 545am - 6:15pm with a schedule of 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off (2X2X3). Training takes place during the day. We are currently looking to fill the night shift, but excellent candidates needing the day shift can still be considered. We aim to hire for the night shift and then offer promotion from within to day shift if employees wish to shift.
