Job Title: Process TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated 2nd & 3rd shift Process Technician responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plastic injection machinery. The role includes changing out, setting up, and preparing these machines for operation, ensuring smooth start-ups and shut downs, and troubleshooting until achieving a successful first run. Responsibilities also encompass rigging and hoisting molds in and out of machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and disassembling, cleaning, checking, and reassembling molds. Safe operation utilizing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures is essential. Additionally, the role involves training new mold and process technicians and collaborating with the tool room on tooling needs and repairs.Responsibilities

Change out, set up, and prepare plastic injection machinery for operation.

Operate machinery and ensure successful start-ups and shut downs.

Troubleshoot equipment to achieve a successful first run.

Rig and hoist molds in and out of machinery.

Disassemble, clean, check, and reassemble molds.

Perform preventative maintenance on molds as needed.

Utilize LOTO procedures and operate safely.

Train new mold and process technicians.

Collaborate with the tool room on tooling needs and repairs.

Essential Skills

Experience in the plastic injection molding industry.

Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic PMs and troubleshoot molds.

Proficient in using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

Ability to utilize forklifts and hoists.

Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret machine drawings, diagrams, and schematics.

Although there are plans to upgrade the equipment this year, candidates must be comfortable working in oily conditions for the time being. The role involves working 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm) or 3rd shift (Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am), with initial training on a traditional 1st shift for 3-6 months.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Goshen, Indiana.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
