Job Title: Mold TechnicianJob DescriptionSeeking a 2nd & 3rd shift Mold Technician responsible for changing out, setting up, and getting plastic injection machinery ready to run, as well as operating these machines. You'll be responsible for start-ups, shut downs, and troubleshooting the equipment until getting a good first run. This will also include rigging and hoisting molds in and out of machinery, disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling molds, performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to the molds as needed. It will be essential that you utilize LOTO and operate in a safe manner.Responsibilities
Change out, set up, and operate plastic injection machinery.
Perform start-ups, shut downs, and troubleshoot equipment.
Rig and hoist molds in and out of machinery.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds.
Perform preventative maintenance on molds.
Utilize LOTO and ensure safe operations.
Train on traditional 1st shift for 2-4 months as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in the plastic injection molding industry.
Mechanically inclined - ability to crank a wrench, do basic PMs to molds, and troubleshoot red flags.
Ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
Ability to utilize forklifts and hoists for changing out molds.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret machine drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
Ability to utilize process sheets with step-by-step instructions for specific jobs.

While there are initiatives to start upgrading the equipment this year, you need to be comfortable working in oily conditions in the meantime.
