Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a significant role in analyzing profit, loss, and the feasibility of commercial solar projects, operating internal Microsoft Excel models, and managing financial information. This role will be instrumental in supporting our CEO through other executive, business, and financial assignments.Responsibilities include: Analyzing profit, loss, and feasibility of commercial solar projects Evaluating the financial viability of new business expansions and developments Operating internal Microsoft Excel models for cash flow analysis, costing, feasibility, appraising portfolios of projects, tax equity, financial reporting, energy reporting, savings analyses, debt and overhead forecasting, and equipment forecasting Managing financial information on the file server and CRM (HubSpot) Researching and justifying inputs and variables used in financial modeling Supporting the CEO through other executive, business, and financial assignments Overseeing and managing financial reporting and energy reporting Conducting debt and overhead forecasting and construction date and labor forecasting Utilizing Microsoft Excel for advanced financial calculations including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions Leveraging QuickBooks for financial management and reporting Applying knowledge of the energy industry to inform financial analyses. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Proficiency in handling Profit and loss accounts Proficient in Forecasting and GAAP Accounting Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis and Costing Experience in conducting Feasibility Studies Knowledge of Equity Accounting Proficiency in Financial Reporting and identifying Cost Savings Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table and VLOOKUP Familiarity with QuickBooks software Ability to conduct complex financial analysis and develop financial models Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Excellent problem-solving skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
