GBS is comprised of the Operations Center of Excellence (Ops CoE), Analytics Center of Excellence (Analytics CoE), and our Managed Service Provider, Accenture. Global Business Services utilizes global teams & innovative technology to standardize transactional work for Caterpillar and enables Business Units to focus on strategic consulting for Caterpillar.In this role, you will provide strategic and influential leadership to multiple workstreams and team members, setting objectives and deliverables aligned with the strategic vision and coordinating teams’ efforts to deliver on objectives. You will also ensure collaboration and interconnectivity across workstreams and alignment on objectives, while providing thought leadership and driving teams to deliver the future state Operating Model and deeper strategic insights to drive profitable growth. This role will help develop and support the future state centers of excellence that are a key component of our Operating Model with a focus on Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.What you will do:
Support development of simplification, standardization and automation solutions for finance and accounting processes that support manufacturing
Create a process to inventory and prioritize ideas for continuous improvement including assessment of impact & effort & timing
Gather voice of the customer to identify, inventory and prioritize business partnering opportunities to drive profitable growth
Support development of the end-state capital process and how it will integrate with current customer requirements, policies and financial systems
Catalog the multiple Business Partnering activities and matching them to Voice of Customer feedback to ensure alignment.
Create sustainable process to inventory all current and future planned strategy projects to prioritize and align resources across the portfolio
Develop process to grow and embed continuous improvement and lean capabilities across the Global Finance organization

Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
Prior supervisory experience

Summary Pay Range:$156,000.00 - $234,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
