This Spanish bilingual Customer Service Representative position is based in the Oak Brook, Illinois region and is a permanent employment opportunity. This position is 100% on-site. This role is responsible for the support of Account Managers and the customers within their territories. This includes order placement, internal processes, and collaboration with other departments to ensure timely and accurate information regarding receipt of product and order shipment. Critical Activities:
Performs order placement and internal processes, including logistics management, railcar tracing while providing accompanying documentation.
Manages material allocation and inventory
Responds timely and professionally to customer inquiries and Account Managers inquiries
Manages multiple customer accounts simultaneously
Confirms / Acknowledges all sales orders by collaborating with Credit Department while also supporting Sales in resolving credit issues
Accurate and timely invoicing responsibilities after material delivery
Participates in department meetings with a focus on relationship building, information sharing and best practices
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in all communication with special attention to style, tone, and manner
Provides back up to fellow customer service specialists as needed
Requirements
Bilingual Spanish required
Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
Order entry experience required
Proficient with diversified computer software and systems
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - achievement oriented, positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism
2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired
No stranger to performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
Well-founded grasp of Inventory Records
Practical knowledge of Supply Inventory
Experience with Material Planning
Supply Chain Logistics experience preferred
Coordinate Logistics experience required
Proven knowledge of Materials Handling
General familiarity with Inventory Tracking
Quality experience with Sales Quotes
Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external
