Lab Coordinator, Microbiology

Develop test methods and techniques for new scope of work. Transition requested methods and techniques along with Quality and Technical Governance to the laboratory. Cooperate with Laboratory Team to report results to customersWorks closely with MIcro and staff to understand the needs of each in order to facilitate an efficient and value added process.Observes and assists in all steps involved from order receipt to final reporting as they pertain to sample and analysis requests, communication between the Account Coordinators and the laboratory. This position will also make process improvement recommendations to the Laboratory Manager in any of the above areas.Works with Laboratory Manager and Micro to improve client turnaround time.Acts as a support staff for field operations and laboratory staff to facilitate effective communication between the two groups.  Will function as a liaison between the two groups to communicate requirements, concerns, and potential solutions including external communications with the client as required.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedAt all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
