The Opportunity This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Infectious Disease Business Unit of the Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics (RMDx) Division. As the Senior Manager, Global Commercial Excellence and Salesforce.com, you’ll have the chance to Develop a long-term Global Salesforce Strategy across >150 countries in a business unit with sales >$1.5B USD. You will establish and manage best practices for Sales Management and CRM / SFDC including Direct Sales, Distribution, NGOs, Pharmacy, GP-Market, MoH and others. You will work with IT and other internal stakeholders to deliver seamless infrastructure to drive efficiency for sales organization to manage TAM, SAM, Opportunity Funnel, Forecast and Actuals in SFDC (and PowerBI or other visualization tool). You’ll establish and drive standardization for global terminology and weightings for opportunity funnel. For example, Business Development / Investigate / Presentation / Proposal / Negotiate / Commit / Closed Won or similar with relevant weightings. Additionally, you will create dashboards for specific audiences (Sales Rep + Sales Manager, Regional GM, Global) to understand TAM, SAM, Opportunity Funnel and Forecast with filters for time horizon, geography, market, product and other relevant variables to segment the business and integrate into monthly S&OP process through Regional and Global Demand Reviews to support improved accuracy of information. This position will have to build “Bonus Calculators” for major markets that allows our teammates to edit annually and understand the incentive component for delivering documented opportunity funnel and lead and inspire the adoption of automation and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and maximize value for customers. Lastly, you’ll oversee the financial evaluation and potential integration of cutting-edge technologies within Salesforce, such as AI, global address validation, visual mapping, and other solutions which can drive operational efficiencies, improve our targeting, and increased customer-centricity. What You’ll Work On

Direct a comprehensive gap analysis of Salesforce capabilities and deficiencies across all regions. Identify our current best-in-class solutions and global needs and opportunities.

Partner with regional business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to discern both the explicit and unarticulated needs of each region.

Lead a commercial viability assessment to thoroughly evaluate each region without Salesforce implemented. Provide well-vetted strategic recommendations on potential investment opportunities and/or lean alternatives.

Design and develop a global framework which standardizes critical Salesforce.com (SFDC) processes for 5 regional commercial areas (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, US, Canada) including sales input fields, commercial expectations as well as regional and global output reporting through PowerBI or similar.

Engineer custom solutions that facilitate critical global standardization while enabling regional flexibility.

Craft a scalable strategy for regional Salesforce rollouts, tailored to each region's initial conditions, from foundational building to refining existing practices.

Partner with cross-functional regional teams, such as sales, marketing, training, IT, etc., to execute the global salesforce standardization effort, embed best-practices, and oversee the change management process.

Standardize, Measure, Report and Improve quantity and quality of TAM / SAM / Pipeline and ensure seamless connection with Demand Planning process in S&OP. Improve risk management with quality lead measures.

Align KPIs by relevant geographic region and market for use by sales management up through executive leadership to help answer the question, “Are we going to win?” against our financial benchmarks.

Recruit, coach, and develop talent. Provide coaching guidance and performance management (end to end process).

Collaborate with global marketing to optimize the collection of critical customer insights within Salesforce touch-points, enhancing data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5+ years with demonstrated success in front-line and / or sales management roles with experience using SFDC

2+ years in cross-functional commercial role such as Commercial Excellence, Marketing or Demand Planning

Proficient in Salesforce.com

Proficient in Microsoft apps including PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications

M.S. and / or MBA Preferred
