Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Description:The Machine Performance Engineer is responsible for the system integration of the product to ensure the functional and performance criteria of the machine is achieved. This position will focus on the D9-D11 Track Type Tractors used primarily in heavy construction and mining applications.Responsibilities/Job Duties
System integration and ownership of the performance requirements necessary to meet the machine application requirements.
Use of data analysis and simulation engineering tools to solve complex engineering problems.
Ownership of detailed requirements for major components and subsystems including engine, drivetrain, hydraulics, and cooling systems. Manage tradeoffs and requirements for electronic controls across the subsystems.
Provide guidance on machine configuration and attachments, including application support, weight and balance.
Support commercial technical requests, application and configuration guidance, competitive product assessments, and sales tools technical support.
Factory liaison for performance requirements and end of line test support.
Provide technical leadership for machine productivity studies for both engineering and commercial purposes.
Top Candidates Will have:
BS in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
Data analysis experience and familiarity with using tools such as Power BI, MATLAB, Snowflake
Track Type Tractor/Dozer Machine Test or Product Application Experience
Machine system integration or system design experience
