The Vice President of Investor Relations will lead the development and execution of the company's investor relations strategy, ensuring effective communication with shareholders, analysts, and the broader financial community. This role is critical in fostering strong relationships with investors and enhancing the company's visibility and reputation in the market.Position location: Deerfield, IL - HybridWhat you will be doing:Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company's financial goals and objectives.Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. Prepare and present financial reports, earnings releases, and investor presentations.Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and develop industry and peer company performance benchmarks. Monitor market trends and provide insights to senior management.Financial Reporting: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and legal teams to ensure accurate and timely public disclosures. Manage quarterly earnings calls and annual shareholder meetings.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. Respond to inquiries and provide timely information.Compliance: Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and other relevant legal requirements. Manage the proxy solicitation process and other investor-related documentation.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the investor relations team as appropriate, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.15+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, or corporate communications, with a demonstrated track record of leadership.Strong financial acumen and deep understanding of financial statements, market analysis, and investor engagement.Excellent strategic-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.Proven ability to build relationships with investors, analysts, and senior executives.Strong working knowledge of SEC regulations and compliance requirements.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.Experience working in a publicly traded company.Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
