We’re seeking a data-driven and customer-obsessed CRM Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This role is responsible for developing targeted, personalized communications across email, SMS, and other owned channels to create a seamless, high-impact customer experience. The ideal candidate blends marketing strategy, campaign execution, and data analytics with a deep understanding of segmentation, automation, and customer journeys.Location:  Deerfield, IL - hybridRESPONSIBILITIES:Own CRM strategy across email, SMS, and push notifications with a focus on acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation.Develop and implement lifecycle journeys that increase CLTV, AOV, and repeat purchase rates using behavioral triggers and segmentation.Manage customer segmentation models and personalize messaging to key audience groups (e.g., new customers, loyalists, churn risk, etc.).Lead the setup and optimization of automations and flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back).Work closely with data & analytics to report on performance, identify insights, and forecast CRM-driven revenue contributions.Monitor deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA regulations. Bonus Experience (Not Required)Experience integrating CDPs (Customer Data Platforms) such as Segment, Bloomreach, or AmperitySMS marketing experience using platforms like Attentive, Postscript, or TwilioBackground in A/B testing frameworks or CRO tools (Optimizely, VWO, etc.)Exposure to loyalty programs or subscription-based business models QUALIFICATIONS:4+ years of experience in CRM, retention marketing, or lifecycle marketing (DTC or eCommerce preferred)Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, SAP, Braze, Iterable, or similarProficient in email segmentation, automation flows, and customer journey mappingStrong understanding of first-party data strategies, 3rd party privacy regulations, and digital marketing KPIsComfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentAnalytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or Excel to drive insightsExceptional project management and communication skillsBachelor’s degree COMPETENCIES:Customer FocusPlans and AlignsOptimize work processesAction Oriented
