Explore life at Fortune Brands here We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Commerce Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of consumer-facing communication strategies that drive engagement, build brand loyalty, and support business growth. This role will oversee messaging across multiple channels - including email, SMS, website, social media, and digital advertising - to ensure consistent, compelling storytelling that resonates with our customers.Position location: This position is a hybrid role based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage the B2C communication strategy to support marketing campaigns, product launches, seasonal promotions, and loyalty initiatives.Craft messaging frameworks that align with brand guidelines and customer journey stages.Partner with digital marketing, DTC flagship store business managers, and creative teams to execute omni-channel campaigns.Manage content calendars and execution across owned (email, SMS, web), earned (PR, influencers), and paid (social, display) channels.Use consumer insights, segmentation, and performance analytics to personalize communications and optimize messaging.Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all touchpoints.Collaborate with customer service, product, and brand teams to ensure messaging reflects real-time consumer needs and product benefits.Monitor campaign performance and deliver monthly reports on KPIs such as engagement rates, CTRs, conversions, and retention.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.5+ years of experience in B2C marketing communications, ideally in a consumer brand or DTC environment.Proven success developing and managing multi-channel communication strategies.Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of brand voice.Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Klaviyo, HubSpot).Strong analytical mindset; experience using data to refine content and channel strategies.Collaborative and proactive with strong project management skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in CPG, retail, eCommerce, or lifestyle brands.Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and paid social ad strategy.Knowledge of consumer behavior analytics and personalization techniques.
