In the Manager, Sales Performance role, you will help to provide partnership with sales leaders so they can service external customers. This role will be responsible to identifying gaps in our sales team when it relates to support and strategy. The Manager, Sales Performance is critical in providing high-level support directly to our sales teams, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in sales support between sales, marketing, sales enablement, channel, and product teams. This is a hybrid role. You will be required to be in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. YOUR ROLE:Demonstrate strong understanding of market segmentation and the ability to implement targeted sales strategies. Identifies and engages with various customer segments to drive sales and achieve company growth objectives.Work with plant, warranty,  and field quality to help track, mitigate, and assist the sales team in managing quality issues.Manage and distribute sales content, ensuring the team has access to the latest resources and information.Assist in budget tracking of T&E, SGA, and discretionary funds.Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and areas of growth.Work with sales enablement on driving best in class CRM strategies to create transparency and drive revenue growth.Evaluate and optimize sales processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Implement and manage sales tools and technologies, ensuring the sales team has access to the necessary resources.Track and analyze sales performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations.Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.Work with demand planning and operations teams on forecasting and intel from the field in order to mitigate service issues.Analyze and segment the market based on demographic, geographic, behavioral, and firmographic factors.Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for each identified segment.Monitor the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.Conduct market sizing and gather cross-functional feedback to assess new product opportunities within the outdoor portfolio, supporting strategic growth initiatives.Monitor and analyze competitor pricing and product strategies across wholesale channels to inform positioning and go-to-market decisions as assigned.Create and maintain BI dashboards and custom reports to support the sales team with actionable insights, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.Other duties and projects as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field.Experience training large sales teams on effective selling, product knowledge, etc. (or other related content)5-10 years experience within sales or sales operations related roles.Must have experience in developing and implementing sales training programs.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business challenges.Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and navigate constantly evolving business environments.Strong understanding of market segmentation and the ability to implement targeted sales strategies. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience working in wholesale and retail channel with building products industry preferred.Demonstrated success in leading key business initiatives - from idea creation to execution.Strong analytical skills and timely decision-making ability.Can think creatively to solve problems and identify ways to continue improving processes.Strong ability to work through ambiguity and drive results.Excellent communication and planning & aligning skills.Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional alignment with sales, marketing, and external customers.
