Our busy trucking company shop, reopened in July 2024, is looking for an experienced Service Manager / Shop Clerk to join our team immediately. We maintain a fleet of 45 trucks and trailers (refrigerated, dry van, flatbed) and plan to open to the public soon.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory, order parts, and negotiate pricing
Create estimates, work orders, and invoices
Maintain our system (Shopmonkey) and organize paperwork
Coordinate repairs and address customer complaints
Process payments, handle collections, and assist with parts pickups
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in service or shop management
Strong organizational, multitasking, and negotiation skills
Familiarity with Shopmonkey or similar systems (preferred)
Background in bookkeeping (preferred); Spanish is a plus
