Essential Job Duties:

Responsible for assisting in leading and monitoring development, implementation, standardization,

and management of multi-state/international DOT Compliance Programs, DOT Driver

Qualification Files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, Vehicle Maintenance, Hours of Service,

other DOT drivers and manager programs

Serve as a subject matter expert for DOT & OSHA related to Transportation Monitoring

emerging trends, programs, and issues

Partner with Logistics Managers to develop, refine, and report on the key metric

scorecard to internal management

Assess and evaluate Logistics accidents for trends and recommend improvement

opportunities to the Logistics Managers

Provide support to the Logistics team to monitor and ensure FMCSA compliance

Analyze, develop, and manage continuous improvement and maintenance of the

Transportation Safety Policy (FSP), safety programs, policies, and procedures

Assist in establishing and monitoring hiring qualification standards, background verification

and physical qualification standards for DOT fleet drivers and managers

Assist to develop, administer, and implement a DOT driver curriculum and training

program: new hires, remedial, post-accident, ongoing, and annual refresher

Administer the standard safety equipment program based on type of vehicle

Assist in establishing procedures to ensure safety and due diligence are performed in the review,

selections, and ongoing utilization of 3

rd party carriers.

Monitor and evaluate DOT driver qualification and “High-Risk Drivers.” Advise

management on proactive interventions and driving restrictions/limitations

Conduct incident investigations, root-cause analysis, follow-up, and closure of action items

The new dispatch will be trained for two weeks, and the salary will be discussed based on achievement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong leadership, administrative, computer knowledge, organizational and management

skills

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Good organizational skills

Work independently or as part of cross-functional teams as necessary

Ability to work effectively with associates across different business functions to achieve a

common goal

Valid Driver's License and driving record within the MVR policy guidelines
