Manufacturing plant located off Rt 83 and I55 has an opportunity for "Long Term" Employment for a CDL driver (Class A, B or C), to deliver loads of steel containers to various customers using our flatbed straight truck. Drive time varies week to week so the "Driver only" position would be "part time", unless you are willing to split your time between driving and labor work within the manufacturing plant, then we would hire as "full time" "Driver/Laborer"Your Choice!
Labor work would consist of assisting the plant foreman with measuring and cutting steel, grinding, cleaning and prepping steel containers for paint, as well as some maintenance of the plant area and possibly some welding, which we are willing to train.
Full Time "Driver/Laborer" hours would be Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 3:30pm, with the opportunity for overtime hours on occasion. (We are currently operating from 6:00am until 4:30pm/overtime is optional.)
Part Time "Driver only" hours would vary each week Monday through Friday, depending on the number of delivery orders that we have, as well as the locations of deliveries.
