BOSS HAIR GROUP is Chicago's leading sustainable and cruelty-free salon space in the downtown River North area of Chicago. We are in search of a detail-oriented new team member to represent our brand on the phone and in front of house. Must have a vibrant personality that comes through when hosting clients in person as well as over the phone and email while helping schedule appointments.
BOSS is an all hands on deck atmosphere. Being friendly and attentive is a high priority in servicing clients and taking care of our team. We need someone who can follow instructions closely. This part-time key holderposition includes the tasks of: Opening/Closing the salon,answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments by phone, text and email, managing online bookings, checking out clients, keeping the salon clean and organized, managing client arrival and carrying out the daily desk tasks set by management. Must be a focused multi-tasker with strong communication and phone skills as well as have an upbeat and positive attitude.
A minimum of one-year salon, spa or hospitality experience is preferred. Prior knowledge and working experience with salon/spa booking software a plus. Strong interest in beauty, fashion and a polished appearance required. Must be available from 12-20 hours a week, and be flexible evenings and weekends. We are mostly looking to cover a few 3-6 hour shifts. Must be available on Saturdays.
