POSITION SUMMARY:
The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact and the gatekeeper of security for Tampico Beverages. They are responsible for fielding incoming calls to HQ, Tampico’s first impression to visitors and callers and are an integral role of the safety and security of the company. We are looking for a professional, dynamic and responsible individual to extend our Tampico essence of engagement! The work hours for this position will cover afternoons on Monday through Thursday, for approximately 20-25 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor security cameras and follows visitor procedures
Screen and transfer all incoming calls using Microsoft Teams
Professionally greet and direct visitors, staff and handle questions/concerns efficiently
Light clerical work including opening and sorting mail, shredding, labeling, copying etc.
Maintains the appearance of the lobby area and product display
Other assignments as directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of administrative and customer service experience
High School Diploma
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Proficient with Microsoft office suite required
Strong multi-task expertise with the ability to stay focused
Must exhibit patience, professionalism, and integrity (regarding confidential information).
Ability to handle emergency situations
Solid verbal, interpersonal communication and human relation abilities are essential in interacting with customers, the general public and Tampico personnel
Must be punctual, flexible and able to adapt to different situations
