Part-Time Personal & Family Assistant

Location: Oak Brook, IL (on-site, 25 hours/week, 3 days per week, flexible days)

About the Role

We are a busy Oak Brook family (entrepreneur dad + mom + 3 kids in elementary, middle, and high school) looking for a long-term Personal & Family Assistant who can help us stay organized, on schedule, and on top of both family and business life.

This is a part-time position (about 25 hours a week, 3 days per week) with flexible scheduling — we will work with you on which days fit best. You will have your own dedicated office space in our home and will collaborate with our household and business support team.

This could be a perfect fit for a former experienced assistant who wants to be closer to home and work part-time (around 25 hours/week) while still putting their organizational and professional skills to great use.

What You’ll Be Doing (variety is the name of the game!)

Managing calendars and schedules — coordinating business meetings, family activities, and school events.

Assisting with household management — working with our handyman, cleaning team, contractors, and vendors to keep the home running smoothly.

Helping with shopping and research — finding great values and handling online purchases.

Keeping documents and projects organized — supporting both family and business needs.

Event and travel planning — helping put together smooth, enjoyable plans.

Assistance with bill payments, expense tracking, and checking / credit card reconciliation.

Running occasional errands.

Working in sync with our two long-time remote assistants, our long time bookkeeper, family helper, handyman, cleaning crew, and other professionals who support our family and businesses.

Who We’re Looking For

Prior personal assistant, executive assistant, or household management experience is required.

High integrity, reliability, and discretion are absolutely essential. Must pass a comprehensive background check.

Ability to sign and fully comply with non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.

Organized, detail-oriented, proactive — a “Type A” personality in the best way.

Skilled with Microsoft Office and tech-savvy.

Professional yet approachable — comfortable working with adults, kids, and a variety of professionals.

Bonus: Paralegal or legal admin background.
