Accounting Office Clerk
Company in Addison, IL currently looking for an Accounting Office Clerk who will be responsible for performing a variety of routine clerical accounting functions in the following areas: general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and office administration tasks. These functions include compiling and sorting documents, calculating and verifying amounts, posting transactions to accounts and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. Must be comfortable working independently, in a small office environment and willingness to take the extra step.
Duties
Process accounts payable including posting invoices and payments
Process accounts receivable including preparing invoices and cash receipts
Reconciling accounts with vendor/customer when issues arise
Bank deposits / check register totals
Posting to General Ledger / GL coding
Process credit references
Maintain office supply inventory
Prepare time cards
Report temporary employee hours
Front desk - serve as first point of contact for visitors
Answer & direct incoming calls
Complete general office tasks such as filing, copying, faxing, scanning, mail
Other duties as assigned

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am – 1:30 pm
