Job Summary:

We are in search of a Quality Lead with experience in CMM programming and operation. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and ambition for future promotion to the Quality Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and leadership development in our quality assurance team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and continuously enhance our ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 Revision D Quality Management System, focusing on maintaining compliance while driving improvements for greater efficiency and system effectiveness.

- Extensive experience in a build-to-blueprint machine shop environment with proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints.

- Develop and operate CMM programs based on 3D models and/or Customer Supplied Blueprints.

- Skilled in selecting appropriate gaging tools to inspect components in accordance with blueprint tolerances and customer requirements.

- Conduct first article inspections compliant with AS9102 Revision C.

- Manage first piece part inspections and re-qualification of new piece part inspections.

- Proactively prevent and manage quality issues within the facility and with material providers and sub-tier special process suppliers.

Education Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the industrial sector required.

Required Expertise:

- Proficiency in GD&T and blueprint interpretation, with ASME Y14.5 experience. (Candidates will undergo practical testing in GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards during the interview to assess proficiency.)
