A growing High Performance Automotive Parts Distributor located in Bridgeview is looking for a new member of our team! We are hiring for a Warehouse Lead to join our pick and pack warehouse shipping and receiving team.

As the Warehouse Lead, you will take a working leadership role on the warehouse floor. You will support shipping, receiving, inventory, and the fulfillment processes while mentoring team members and ensuring that safety, accuracy, and efficiency are maintained.

Qualifications:

3 years’ experience as a Warehouse supervisor or lead is required with at least 5 years warehouse associate experience overall

Must have experience operating and using a RF scanners and programs

Forklift Experience is required and a current forklift license is a plus

Experience with UPS WorldShip and USPS is required

Experience with Fishbowl Warehouse Operating System is a plus

Excellent attention to details and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis

Stamina to stand for long periods of time

Strong communication skills: articulate both verbally and written and good math skills

Completely clean criminal background check and drug test

Experience in small item hand pick/pack warehouse is a plus

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Review daily order load and assign daily tasks to the warehouse associates that include order picking, packing and staging orders for UPS or LCL pickup

Monitor quality control and ensure accurate, clean order fulfillment

Collaborate with managers to support operational goals

Assist in onboarding and training new team members

Assist in hiring process for new warehouse team members

Monitor and maintain all warehouse equipment, conduct equipment checks, enforce safety protocols, promote a clean, organized and hazard-free work zone

Inbound receiving duties to include helping to offload inbound shipments and work with the warehouse team and the Inventory Lead to get all inbound shipments put away

Work closely with the Inventory Lead to resolve inventory issues, assign warehouse associates to help the Inventory Lead when requested and assist in inventory counts

Assign, Monitor and Help with Special projects as needs as in moving shelving

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Salary Commensurate with Experience.
