A Manufacturer of fabricated metal components and assemblies, CNC machining, grinding, tool & die building, repair/rebuild, metal stampings, metal fabrication work and welding services seeking several reliable CNC Operators (Lathes/Mills) for the 2nd shift with 2+years experiences who have worked inside a manufacturing environment.

SUMMARY OF JOB:

Operates CNC Lathe/Mill to manufacture components and finished goods to the customer's specifications.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working from engineering blueprints, machine parts to very close tolerances and specified finishes

Perform all required inspections and filling out inspection sheets

Must be able to adjust offsets on the machine and change inserts and tools as needed

Conduct and verify minimal machine maintenance has been done on equipment prior to use (fluid levels, filters, cleaning)

Operate drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly or finishing operation

Perform any operations that are required per the process sheet, such as painting

Disassembles or assembles to salvage or repair various parts

Perform all duties of Material Handler or General Laborer

Maintain material identification

QUALIFICATION:

2+ years working in a similar capacity

Experience operating CNC machine

Ability to work independently

Good attention to detail, math skills and use measurement equipment; bore, height and thread gages, calipers, micrometers and optical

comparator

Must be able to use a computer (E.R.P. Microsoft, Excel)

Must be able to read and write English

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Experience with the efficient operation of CNC Lathes and Mills

Must be a self-starter, comfortable working with a team environment

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, adhering to strict deadlines and commitments

A creative thinker with the ability to raise the bar in CNC machining

Available to work OT when needed including Saturday

LONG TERM WITH FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY AFTER 720 HOURS WORKED PROGRAM:

2nd Shift: Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (up to 2-hours of OT each working day and available for Saturday 6-hours of OT)

PAY RATES RANGES FROM 20.00 UP TO 24.00 PENDING ON SKILL SETS AND WORK EXPERIENCES
