Solo attorney law office with a concentration in estate planning and probate matters seeks part-time Executive Administrative Assistant/Legal Assistant. Prior law office experience is not required, but prior office experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manager is strongly preferred.

The ideal applicant should possess strong administrative skills and abilities to support the attorney and ensure efficient office operations. Applicants should have a high degree of organization, detail oriented capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications and Key Responsibilities include the following:

-Perform clerical functions, such as managing the office calendar, preparing correspondence, making copies and scanning of documents, receiving visitors, must be comfortable answering phones and engaging with clients that need assistance.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a dedication to good customer service.

-Provides administrative support to attorney.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Obtain information from new clients to build out files.

-Prepare intake documents and follow up with clients if needed.

-Assist attorney in preparing administrative documents for files.

-Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook and Excel primarily).

-Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

-High School diploma/GED is a must; additional education in legal education is a plus.

-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Office is located in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Part-time (20-30 hours per week); hourly rate.
