Our established, family-owned private practice is seeking a skilled, dependable, hardworking, compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our wonderful dental team as a part-time or full-time member. We are committed to establishing great patient experience and we are looking for a Dental Hygienist that would be an integral part of delivering excellent oral healthcare and customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities
-Review patient health and dental history forms and update as needed
-Perform oral examinations and update periodontal charts
-Maintain accurate patient records and chart documentation (Dentrix Ascend)
-Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
-Take dental x-rays
-Perform dental hygiene procedures (prophylaxis, scaling, scaling and root planing)
-Patient education on oral hygiene and dental health
-Sterilize dental instruments properly
-Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment
-Maintain equipment
-Clean treatment operatory at the end of the day and turn off equipment
-Perform other tasks assigned by the dentist
Experience

-Effective verbal skills and interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and staff
License/Certification
-Registered Dental Hygienist (required)
-CPR Certification (required)
