Natural Smiles Family Dentistry is looking for a long-term dental hygienist to join our professional team that is passionate about taking care of our amazing patients.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and organized person. We are looking for someone who has a Dental Hygiene certification and is comfortable working with patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining professional patient relations while ensuring maximum comfort and satisfaction
Screening patients during checkups
Reviewing patient’s dental history
Recommending care to improve patient’s oral health
Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
Performing preventive dental care
Applying fluoride treatments and placing sealants
Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Dental Hygienist skills and qualifications:
Verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Interpersonal skills
The ability to convey complex health information in a simple way
The ability to interact with young and old patients
Excellent critical-thinking skills
Drive to stay up to date on latest dental tools and methods
Days: Monday 11am to 7pm, Thursday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm.
Additional days may be added if preferred.
