Together.Summary The Senior Data Analyst in the Data Analytics group is responsible for managing data analytics projects, assisting in driving firm data strategy and innovation, and utilizing advanced analytics techniques to drive decision-making process. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, technical skills, and a passion of leveraging data to achieve business goals. The Senior Data Analyst role utilizes tools such as Power BI to deliver high-impact analytics and reporting, designing complex dashboards, models and resolving data quality issues. They lead large-scale analytical projects, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize business problems.Key skills include proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX, advanced data analysis, and exceptional presentation abilities. They foster a collaborative environment, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the firm data strategy. Their role involves ensuring timely, accurate deliverables, aligning data initiatives with business goals, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices. This position will work with functional leads across the Firm, performing research, analysis and presentation of data to enable the Firm to make better informed decisions, meet external client requirements and track aspects of financial performance. Utilize Power BI and other advanced analytics tools to deliver comprehensive and high-impact analytics and reporting solutions.
Collaborate with the Director of Data Analytics, Senior Finance leadership, and other key stakeholders to identify and prioritize complex business problems.
Contribute to the development and execution of the firm's data strategy initiative.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance data integrity.
Drive and manage large-scale analytical projects that span multiple teams and functions.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure project alignment with business objectives and successful execution.
Analyze trends and derive actionable insights to address complex business challenges.
Design and develop advanced solutions to streamline processes, improve data quality, and drive intelligent automation.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and provide tailored data solutions.
Present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large complex datasets, identify trends and provide actionable data-driven insights.
Highly proficient in data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
Highly proficient in Microsoft office, with advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivots tables, data analysis, VBA, and data visualization techniques.
Experience with advanced statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
Highly proficiency in SQL and programming languages (Python/R/VBA) or other relevant programming languages.
Demonstrated experience in creation of complex queries, data manipulation, and automation of data processes.
Experience with Machine Learning and AI implementation.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
Minimum Years of Experience
2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role including experience with data modeling, statistical analysis and processes.
