Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in the legal industry, located in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves significant interaction with a database vendor and the firm team, as well as participation in weekly meetings. Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between the database vendor and the firm team, ensuring clear and effective communication of important dates and schedules. Participate actively in weekly meetings with the vendor. Analyze legal documents meticulously to extract critical deadlines and key dates. Utilize your docketing experience to manage and maintain schedules. Ensure adaptability and flexibility as the role is new to the team and responsibilities may evolve as the case develops. Use your legal knowledge to confidently interpret and handle legal documents. Utilize your skills in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, CompuLaw among others to perform your tasks efficiently. Implement your high-volume document background and time management skills to effectively manage your workload. Utilize your briefing, calendar management, claim administration, coordination, calendaring, daily schedule, scheduled appointments, and scheduling skills to perform your tasks efficiently. Use your skills as a Paralegal or Litigation Paralegal as required. Requirements Possess a minimum of 2 years experience as a Paralegal Proficiency in using Aderant software In-depth knowledge and experience with Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) Ability to effectively use Case Management Software Competence in using CompuLaw software Proficiency in conducting billing functions Ability to perform briefing tasks efficiently Strong skills in calendar management Experience in claim administration Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience in docketing and coordination Proficiency in calendaring tasks Ability to manage daily schedules efficiently Experience in managing scheduled appointments Strong skills in scheduling tasks and appointments Understanding and experience in Paralegal duties Experience as a Litigation Paralegal is preferred.
