The Metal Apprentice 1 will perform cleaning and maintenance for various metals as prescribed by routine and custom metal maintenance programs. Allied Universal Janitorial Services is a Union signatory, in good standing, of the Painters District Council No. 14 IUPAT, AFL-CIO. On the job training is provided.Wage is $19.67 / hourRESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean, polish, and highlight of all types of metals
Perform architectural bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum refinishing
Clean and coat exterior metal curtain wall building facade
Apply of high-performance paints and coatings
Perform custom tailored metal maintenance programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver’s license, if driving a company or customer supplied vehicle
No experience required
No prior knowledge or skills are required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Stone restoration knowledge
Work or training experience involving refinishing of architectural metals (revolving doors), window frames, elevators, and escalators, etc.
