Provide comprehensive application software functional and non-functional QA services, applying Best Practice QA standards and practices, to ensure Global IT application is fit for purpose and meets all requirements for production rollout.

Lead the review of product or solution wide test strategy, performance testing, test harness to ensure vision and quality criteria are met.

Develop effective and efficient functional or automation testing strategies and plans and their synchronization with stakeholders.

Define the overall testing vision and transform through execution into the solution.

Lead and architect the direction and strategies of software testing.

Drive and own improvement initiatives within IT QA and Global IT.

Lead the business testers for user acceptance testing and ensuring both functional and automation testing are effective while meeting defined standards.

Provide knowledge transfer to the support team.

What you'll need (Required):Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 8 years' related experience required OR Master's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field and 6 years' related experience required

Other: Certification (e.g. TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, OCP, etc.) in related disciplines (e.g., programming, database development, project management) required

What else we look for (Preferred):

Demonstrate solid performance in an architect role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/novel system implementations

Relevant industry experience (e.g. medical device, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in highly regulated environments

Experience in creating test harnesses and performance testing and/or automation

Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards

Extensive knowledge of relevant computing platforms and automated testing tools.

Extensive knowledge on Edwards software applications, including business use

Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, including test automation and performance testing and other specialist areas.

Extensive knowledge of software development

Extensive knowledge in Test Management Process

Knowledge of and adherence to related procedures (e.g., Cybersecurity procedures related to IT systems, manufacturing equipment or product software).

Strict attention to detail

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
