Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Chicago, Illinois. The role primarily involves legal typing and modifying PDFs for a team focused on construction law. The Legal Assistant will be tasked with compiling various types of documents into exhibits and handling other relevant tasks. Responsibilities: Modify PDFs as per the requirements of the team Compile PDFs, hand-written notes, and oversized/reduced photos into exhibits Handle copy and pasting tasks efficiently Assist in construction law-related tasks as needed Utilize case management software effectively for various tasks Leverage LexisNexis for legal research and case management Use Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites for administrative tasks Handle billing functions and calendar management as required Address complaints and manage documentation efficiently Employ fast and accurate typing skills for various tasks, including the preparation of exhibits.
