AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Chicago, IL.This position is expected to begin in May 2025.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform on-site construction inspections to verify compliance with plans and specifications during construction.Coordinate construction work activities with other members of the project team.Performs field measurements of construction work items and calculates quantities of for contractor payment.Prepares daily diaries and work reports, tracking workforce labor and equipment and working conditionsPerforms a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
