THE POSITION
Unison is seeking a full time Project Accountant. The ideal candidate is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Accountant with the day-to-day accounting and financial management of the concessions program at O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). The Project Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounting and financial management at O’Hare and Midway under the direction of the Senior Project Accountant and the General Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain all licensee and tenant accounting records on approved accounting systems
Evaluate monthly passenger data
Review monthly tenant sales and revenue reports
Collect, review, and maintain certified annual sales records and reports
Assist in the preparation of annual billing reconciliation analyses
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports
Track tenant receivables and participate in status meetings and conference calls. Assist in the collection of delinquencies as requested.
Generate billing instructions
Assist Senior Project Accountant with the preparation of financial projections for future concessions program sales.
Any additional duties and tasks as assigned by the Senior Project Accountant or other senior management.
