Description We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Senior Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Cybersecurity Senior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting cybersecurity operations by designing, developing, and recommending secure technical solutions. Our ideal candidate possesses expertise in implementing industry standards such as ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST, FedRAMP, and more.Responsibilities:
Develop a risk-based cybersecurity program aligned with regulatory requirements and industry-leading practices.
Perform threat identification and mitigation activities using cutting-edge security controls and toolsets.
Advance our cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of threats.
Assess threats to the business and deploy countermeasures accordingly.
Collaborate with business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors to meet program requirements.
Utilize technical knowledge to protect the organization against cyber threats, leveraging firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, data loss prevention solutions, endpoint protections, and more.
Facilitate cross-team coordination to achieve security goals and support detailed implementation plans for security projects.
Manage security projects to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and effective implementation of cyber security improvements.
Perform assessments of cyber security incidents to identify root causes and implement appropriate responses.
Develop strategies, policies, and standards to protect company information and technology assets.
Manage capital and operational expense budgets accurately.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience; typically 7 plus years of experience preferred.
Expertise in implementing industry standards such as ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST, and FedRAMP.
Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) toolsets.
CISSP certification or similar preferred.
Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
