Job is NEC1099 contract work, not as an employee. Apartment Maintenance Assistance for a very small property management company in Lewiston. Must have general maintenance and customer service capabilities. Some, but not all, aspects of work include: 1) Learn to perform as many small tasks and repairs as possible i.e. change locks, insert batteries in smoke detectors, change light bulbs, install tower bars, replace faucets, stop/repair leaking toilets, unplug drains (infrequent), install curtain rods. 2) General, mostly minor maintenance, not full-time, a good sideline job or supplemental income for retired/semi-retired person. This work should NOT be considered a primary source of income. 3) Repair window and door screens. 4) Infrequent moving of furniture and appliances when needed. 5) Ideally, the person needs to be able to respond within 20 minutes in “emergency” situations (not common).
