Animal Care responsibilities include Clean and scrape barns and feed pigs. Help move pigs from barn to barn. General Chores: You will have to help in other areas of the operation depending on everyone’s workload. Must be able to lift 50#. Learn everyone’s chores so you can do weekend chores every 5th weekend. General Repairman responsibilities include: General Repairs: fences, waters, service equipment, auger system and other repairs as needed. Remodel Hot Nursery: installing pen fencing, secure feeders, water to pens, siding, paint inside walls and insulate. Skills desired are minor carpentry and plumbing. Welding would be helpful. Pump Lagoon: Each fall we pump the lagoons onto crop ground using a sprinkler system. Must be able to drive a vehicle with a clutch and be able to lift 55#. Must be 18 years of age, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and valid Driver’s License. Dependable, ability to learn, take directions and desire to work in a farm environment.
