Looking for an experienced all around tech to work at a busy custom shop. Mostly work on classic cars and trucks doing upgrades, brakes, engines, trans, rear end, suspension, steering. Basically changing parts with upgraded parts. All fab/paint etc. is done in a different department. Looking for someone proficient that can work independently and problem solve. If you have any outside training that is a bonus but not required. We have 2 years worth of work already sold. Also have a sliding pay scale, more hours billed, the more pay per hour after x amt of hours
Examples of work to be done:
-carb to efi conversions
-aftermarket a/c installations
-electrical diag (old wiring)
-wilwood / disc brake upgrades and conversions
-full vehicle inspections and write ups
-basic mechanical work on classic cars/trucks
-late model engine swap knowledge is a bonus
