Part-Time Maintenance Technician
SpringHill Suites Boise/West Eagle is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for a part-time position. Benefits will include health, dental, PTO, and 401K.
Duties:
Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, offices, and public areas
Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on appliances
Keep managers and other departments informed about maintenance issues
Keep grounds, landscaping, and parking lot free of trash and safety hazards
Keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice
Replace filters and belts on HVAC equipment
Ensure pool is clean, safe, and chemically balanced
Perform basic troubleshooting on door locks, TVs, and HVAC equipment
Repair carpeting and remove stains
Other duties may include minor electrical, plumbing, sprinkler repair, drywall repair, and painting
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Will be required to dress in accordance with company standards
Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes one day on weekends
Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
May be required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Experience / knowledge:
1 to 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or multi-unit housing maintenance is preferred
Basic computer knowledge to complete checklists, work orders, and assigned training
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is a plus
