CopenRoss Growlers is looking for an experienced, driven and fun individual to operate as Part-time Kitchen staff! Our tap-house is fun, fast, casual and has lots of room for growth and development.

CopenRoss is a 60-line taphouse located off of Orchard/Overland with a limited kitchen capacity, so we often have to get creative with our foods! Recent special examples include:

- Bahn Mi Sandwiches

- Chicken Bacon Ranch-Alfredo pasta

- Nashville Chicken Tacos

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a part-time Cook to prepare food to the company’s exact recipe specifications, and help develop new recipes and menu items. Ideal candidates would also be interested in being Cross-trained for FOH responsibilities, such as bussing/cleaning the front and learning to cover the till or pour if needed, but not required.

Responsibilities

-Accurately rotate and stock walk-in, work stations, freezers, etc., while maintaining cleanliness standards in areas.

-Prepare food for service both in prep, (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) and line.

-Clean up station and take care of leftover food. (Appropriate dating and storage procedures, as well as quality control.)

-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

-Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Qualifications:

-18 Years or Older

-Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook preferred, but not required.

-Basic understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

-Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

-Familiar with industry’s best practices in food preparation, rotation, safety and cleanliness standards preferred.
