If so, you may be interested in a role in Deloitte's US Corporate Development Team. Deloitte's US Corporate Development team is responsible for the organic and inorganic investment strategy and related activities of the Deloitte US firm in order to advance our Businesses' (Consulting, Advisory, Audit, Tax) growth ambitions.As a Consultant on the Corporate Development Transformation & Operations team, you will have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our firm's investment related activities, including acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic large-scale organic investments. You will work alongside the US Corporate Development leader and Chief of Staff to set the overall strategy for the US Corporate Development team, manage and lead transformation efforts, support the operations of the team (i.e., talent and finance related processes), create an integrated and collaborative team, guide key investments through the US Firm's governance processes, and manage key stakeholder relationships.This role will provide you key exposure to US firm leadership and processes, providing you with a unique perspective on how large-scale companies operate and make decisions. It will enhance your understanding of how acquisitions and other investments support the overall Deloitte strategy and drive growth. The opportunity will allow you to build relationships with leaders across Deloitte's Executive team, Businesses, and Enabling Areas.What you'll doExpectations of the role will be to:

Support transformation efforts to lead the next phase of Corporate Development at the firm (i.e., strategic sourcing , reporting and analytics, operating model, etc.)

Lead the execution of efforts to define, measure, report on, and continuously evaluate Corporate Development priorities, activities, outcomes, and value (i.e., reporting dashboards)

Continuously refine the US Corporate Development operating model, working with the US Corporate Development Leaders to identify activities and expectations at the center and define roles and responsibilities across the organization

Establish frameworks, tracking, and key messaging for US Corporate Development internal and external stakeholders

Drive integration across the US Corporate Development team to build a community of trust and awareness of each other's strengths and experiences for effective collaboration (i.e., AHM, newsletters, learning series, etc.)

Support content development for key leadership meetings, inclusive of stakeholders from all Deloitte Businesses and Enabling Areas (i.e., Corporate Development Leadership Team, Corporate Development Leaders, etc.)

Organize expectations, calendars, and topics required at various management and governing bodies for inorganic and organic firm investment activities

Partner with our Talent & Finance teams where necessary for consistent processes, experiences, and results across Corporate Development

The successful candidate will possess:

Outstanding oral and written communication, including advanced PowerPoint slide building and proficiency in storyboarding

Collaborative workstyle and ability to effectively work remotely while handling multiple tasks in fast-paced environment

Willingness to be flexible in assignments and projects to support US Corporate Development success

High attention to detail and accuracy

Inclusive mindset

QualificationsRequired:

Bachelor's Degree

2+ years' professional services experience

Ability to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendations

Willingness to travel on a limited basis as needed on projects

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Knowledge of Deloitte and exposure to M&A

Consulting experience

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
