C3 Civil Engineering is seeking a motivated and talented Civil Engineer Designer to join our team based out of Boise, Idaho. All employees of our firm may work remotely from their home offices, therefore we are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong sense of discipline and initiative. We are a small firm, and our engineers take on all aspects of projects: design, planning, and execution of various civil engineering projects in the commercial, industrial and residential markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive work environment, and become a well-rounded and better consulting engineer for our clients looking to develop property.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
Prepare preliminary and final engineering construction documents for commercial, industrial and residential projects. Candidates should have a working knowledge of grading, earthwork, demolition, water quality, hydrology/hydraulic reports, storm drain, street, water and sewer design.
Ability to manage projects from start to finish and proficiency in AutoCAD Land Desktop and/or Civil 3D required.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
Assist in the review and approval of construction plans, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in civil engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
0-3 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred.
