Lead the effort to exceed expectations, provide exceptional service, and display passion for the Fairmont brand!What you will be doing:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and appearance at all timesCoach, counsel, schedule, train, supervise and lead retail staffMonitor weekly schedules and breaks as to maximize the utilization of labor hours and minimize overtimeLiase with other departments to ensure smooth operationsMaintain cleanliness and efficiency of the retail operationHandle product protection, storage conditions, storeroom maintenance and cleanlinessOrchestrates shipping/receiving procedures/processes and invoice reconciliationCheck inventory of all items dailyReceive cash/credit cards and room charges for merchandise/servicesLiaison for retail communications internally regarding promotionsKeep records of funds received; performs cashiering as well as other clerical dutiesCompletes all cashier forms upon closingCompares cash register totals and receipts in register to verify accuracy of transactionsTotals and summarizes funds receivedMaintain profitable inventory and take monthly inventoryResearch & review vendors to secure cost effective and quality productsUpdate and implement all policies and procedures requires for maximum performance by staffKeep department goals advancing in a productive directionResponsible for coordination of all recyclables within work areaPerforms all other tasks assigned by management.
