Director of Spa & Wellness

As a Director of Spa and Wellness, you will be responsible for managing all areas of the Spa, Spa Reception, Tennis and Fitness Center, including its services, hours of operation, facilities, and team. You will demonstrate your leadership and interpersonal strengths to create a service delivery that is relaxing, mindful, and culturally infused in a luxury setting, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.What you will be doing: Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying excellent customer service, and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relationsLiaise with the Hotel's partners, including the tennis operationFollow all Company Brand Standards and required legislation guidelinesEmpowers employees to provide excellent customer serviceTrain colleagues with LQA standardsProvide colleagues with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives to reach their fullest potentialBeing current with the latest innovative & global fitness and wellness trends is a mustExperienced in creating spa treatment protocols and menusPossess knowledge and experience with different types of massage, body and skincare, and retail productsYou will establish and execute clear short- and long-term goalsYou develop the strategic direction of the department, including marketing and social activities to promote the spa and wellness facilitiesDevelop and monitor financial strategies to increase revenues while controlling operating expenses, monitoring annual budget and forecasts, reviewing monthly financial statements, utilizing yield management strategies, implementing inventory management and purchasing procedures, as well as monitoring and adjusting staffing levels, spa service appointments, and operational expenses, to maximize spa profitabilitySelects vendors for spa retail operations and manages contract agreementsOversees retail product research, product selection, and purchasing, and product displayDevelops and manages spa promotions, including gift programs, gift with purchase, co-op marketing efforts, and holiday events.Creates and coordinates special services for groups, including group gifting programs, group amenities, group turndown gifts, letters and invitations, creating special spa services for specific groups, and spa contract addendum negotiations.
