We are searching for an Assistant Director of Housekeeping who will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the entire Hotel to promote the highest possible level of efficiency, service and comfort.What you will be doing: Lead and coach the Housekeeping team to provide exceptional guest service, colleague satisfaction, and profitabilityConsistently offer welcoming, friendly and warm service to external and internal guests Lead and coach team to provide intuitive service, engaging with external and internal guests and anticipating their needs Foster positive cross departmental relationships to create a seamless experience Follow detailed cleaning standards as set by Accor’s brand standards Ensuring all guest and colleague requests are handled in an efficient and professional manner according to brand standard Supporting company and hotel policies and procedures including creating, promoting and actively participate in EES, Health and Safety, and Voice of Guest initiatives Responsible for the overall cleanliness, maintenance and ambience of designated areas including service areas Regularly connect directly with guests in the space, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere Develop departmental goals and measurements resulting in a balanced score card of guest, colleague, shareholder and brand but understand guest satisfaction is dependent on colleague engagement. Ongoing professional development, growth, and job satisfaction of all leaders and colleagues through the department Promote and ensure a clean and SAFE working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety Actively participate on hotel committees and ensure strong departmental representation on all hotel committees and activities Key involvement in the Hotel’s preventative maintenance programs Foster an environment of open communication and creative problem solving Assist Director of Housekeeping in the administration and management of the entire Housekeeping operation including payroll, scheduling, uniform and linen inventory control, lost and found, etc - Daily monitoring of labor, expenses and assist in the preparation of monthly commentaries General office procedures including: new employee interviews, scheduling and performance reviews in conjunction with Director of Housekeeping Assist in the co-ordination of and actively participate in staff meetings Operation of department in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping
