Ground Transport, Inc. is a locally owned School Bus Transportation Company that has been operating in Hawaii for over 33 years. We are expanding our operations and seeking a hands-on Facilities Coordinator who will be responsible for all of our Oahu, Maui and Big Island Facilities/Buildings and Base Yards. This position is a full-time which is required to report to the Kapolei, Oahu office, Monday – Friday. Travel to Maui and the Big Island will also be required periodically.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the upkeep of buildings, yards, equipment and supplies to meet all Fire and OSHA health and safety standards.
Maintain and keep all OSHA records updated and properly filed
Update and maintain all facilities logs, records and reports
Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
Work with team member(s) to ensure facilities are properly maintained
Monitor and ensure the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, and parking lots
Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, ordering supplies and completing maintenance orders.
Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 3-years’ experience in Facility Maintenance and Management
Extensive knowledge of current Fire and OSHA regulations and record-keeping
Knowledge and Ability to perform basic maintenance
Ability to manage multiple priorities with varying degrees of importance
Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively, respectfully and cooperatively with all employees from officers to staff, as well as the customers, vendors, etc.
