Support kids to grow into better versions of themselves—more focused, discipline, confident, and capable of defending themselves.
We provide high-quality BJJ instruction & training suitable for both self-defense and sport in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Every class concludes with a mindfulness practice and a mindfulness-based mat chat. Alongside physical Jiu-Jitsu, we teach "energetic jiu-jitsu" and "verbal jiu-jitsu," to prevent and diffuse conflicts, encouraging students to see violence as a last resort, but one that they are well prepared for.
Our students are 4-17yrs of age.

1. Head Instructor Track Position
After a brief introductory period (1-3 months), during which time you get familiar with our systems, you'll lead classes on Monday & Tuesday afternoons with an assistant. At your option, you can also assist the lead instructor on Wed & Thu afternoons.

You'll assist the head instructor on Monday & Tuesday Afternoons

NOTE
- You'll have 1hr of required debrief/class-prep each month - debriefing kids' progress and any issues, discussing & practicing for upcoming techniques, discussing teaching philosophies, etc.
- Regular work hours span from about 2:30pm until about 6:15pm

REQUIREMENTS
- You’ll need to be able to pass a background check & provide one personal reference & two work references.
- You should enjoy and have some experience in working with kids and training in a martial art, preferably BJJ

COMPENSATION
$20-25/hr for Assistant Coach position & $25-$28 for Head Coach position, depending on experience. Paid as an Independent Contractor.
